School social workers are hired by school districts to enhance the district's ability to meet its academic mission, especially where home, school and community collaboration is the key to achieving that mission. Hi, I am your school social worker. I have been employed with Wayne County Public Schools since May, 2006.  I earned a BA in Psychology from N.C. Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount, N.C. and a Bachelors in Social Work from Barton College in Wilson, N.C. I am licensed by the state of N.C. in school social work. I work Tuesday through Friday at Northwest Elementary and I work Mondays at Rosewood Middle School.
